Are you looking to expand your business online? Eligible NWT businesses can receive contribution funding and support from digital advisors to advance their digital projects.
Funding can be used for projects such as:
- Website development – creating a new website or upgrading an existing site (some limitations apply)
- Adopting an e-commerce platform or solution
- Setting up online payments
- Setting up a digital inventory tracking and/or sales system
There are several Digital Support Programs that Prosper NWT delivers in the territory:
The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) – this was a federally funded program that offered eligible businesses up to $2,400 in micro-grants. This program has been fully subscribed for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The Accelerate Digital Adoption Projects for Tomorrow (ADAPT) Fund – this is a program of Prosper NWT that offers eligible businesses up to $2,600 in contributions for digital projects.
Additional contribution funding from the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor), up to $10,100, may also be available for digital business projects. Please note that the additional funding from CanNor has been fully subscribed for the fiscal year 2024–25. New additional funding from CanNor for digital projects may be available for businesses starting April 1, 2025.
Funding for any of the digital support programs will be available only until budget funding is exhausted and will be distributed on a first come, first serviced basis.
