The BDIC is helping small businesses go digital with the Canada Digital Adoption Program

Date

How Canadians do business has changed. Adopting digital technologies can be critical in being competitive in today’s marketplace. The NWT Business Development and Investment Corporation (BDIC) wants to help small businesses in the NWT grow and thrive by going digital.

The BDIC, in partnership with the Government of Canada and Digital Main Street, is delivering the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP), specifically the Grow Your Business Online stream, in the Northwest Territories. The CDAP initiative aims to help small businesses get their business online, boost their e-commerce presence or help digitalize operations.

Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting e-commerce and will be supported by a network of e-commerce advisors.

Small businesses in the NWT can learn more about the Grow Your Business Online grant, which is part of the Canada Digital Adoption Program, at www.bdic.ca/cdap. To learn more about the full Canada Digital Adoption Program, one can visit www.canada.ca/digital-adoption.
